Odd advertising campaign

Post by Draco_Argentum »

So I just got a letter from my ISP telling me how to protect my child from infection. It had 10 bandaids (sticking plaster in the US I believe) in it and an ad for their anitvirus/firewall stuff. Thats really... strange.

Strange, but they're Band-Aids (or Self-Adhesive Bandages when trademarks are zealously enforced) over here too. It's the Brits who call them plasters.
"But transportation issues are social-justice issues. The toll of bad transit policies and worse infrastructure—trains and buses that don’t run well and badly serve low-income neighborhoods, vehicular traffic that pollutes the environment and endangers the lives of cyclists and pedestrians—is borne disproportionately by black and brown communities."

Ah, I knew there was someone using the non-trademarked name.

the real question is, did the bandaid/bandage (gasp), sticking plaster(?) protect your child from infection? hmmm...

There weren't enough to cover the entire child.

Not as such, they're a terrible ISP, I wouldn't buy anything from them. I'll be glad to buy a new place and get someone decent.

As long as we're doing advertisements...
